Students can download individual audio or video offerings or can subscribe to courses and have the new content downloaded automatically as soon as it becomes available. Students can view the content on their Mac or PC, or can transfer it to an iPod for listening/viewing on the go. iTunes U is easily accessed from the course page on ALEX.
Virtual Microscope:
Histology is integrated into the C21 curriculum and is no longer is own course. In order to enhance students’ ability to study this topic, histology courseware is now entirely online and available for student’s use at the NYU School of Medicine Virtual Microscope. Here both students and faculty can annotate slides. Students can also test their knowledge with self-tests and practical exams available on the site.
