Class of 2014 Ambassadors

	Emma Gorynski Class of 2014 Emma.Gorynski@med.nyu.edu Emma is from Queens, New York. She graduated with a degree in Biology from Georgetown University in 2010. At NYU she is a member of the Bellevue Buddies, NYU Med Mentors and participates in research in radiology.
	Rachel Kaplan Class of 2014 Rachel.Kaplan@med.nyu.edu Rachel was born and raised in Stony Brook, NY. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and majored in Biological Basis of Behavior with a minor in Health Care Management. After graduating in 2008, she joined Teach for America and taught 11th grade Chemistry for two years in Philadelphia. At NYU she is involved in the program HELP, that teaches GED students about topics in health literacy, serves as a co-chair for Patient Education at the NYC Free Clinic, and is on the board of the Dermatology Interest Group
	Kaitlyn Lillemoe Class of 2014 Kaitlyn.Lillemoe@med.nyu.edu Kaitlyn grew up in Minnetonka, Minnesota and graduated from Yale University in 2009. At Yale, Kaitlyn majored in political science and played on the varsity women's basketball team. Between college and starting medical school she worked as a clinical research assistant for an orthopedic surgeon in NYC. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys traveling, working out and eating at all the great places NYC has to offer.
	Jennifer Lin Class of 2014 Jennifer.Lin@med.nyu.edu Jennifer grew up in Middletown, NJ and attended Yale University, where she double-majored in Psychology and History of Medicine. She was supposed to be in the class of 2013, but deferred for a Fulbright year teaching English at the University of Macau and traveling around Asia. At NYU, Jennifer leads the Christian Fellowship, coordinates public relations for the Free Clinic, and enjoys exploring all that NYC has to offer!
	Jennifer Millman Class of 2014 Jennifer.Millman@med.nyu.edu Jenny is from Mamaroneck, NY. She attended Haverford College where she majored in Biology with a concentration in Biochemistry. Now at NYU, she is the Vice President of the Gastroenterology Club, participates in many of the teaching clubs including BASIS and HELP, and is involved in the Survivors of Torture Club. She also makes time to play on the Class of 2014 Girls’ Football Team!
	Jennifer Zhu Class of 2014 Jennifer.Zhu@med.nyu.edu Jen is from Westfield, New Jersey. She attended New York University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Public Health and Policy. At NYUSOM, she is involved with the Center for Immigrant Health and BASIS Heart Beats. She is also working on a cardiovascular health research project at the Veterans Affairs Hospital.
	Ross McCormack Class of 2014 Ross.McCormack@med.nyu.edu Ross is from Yardley, Pennsylvania. He attended NYU where he majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Chemistry and Economics. At NYU SOM he is involved in various clubs and the student groups, including the Internal Medicine Club and Bioethics Club. Outside of school, he loves exercising, skiing, camping, and going to concerts.
	Jenna Piccininni Class of 2014 Jenna.Piccininni@med.nyu.edu Jenna is from Deer Park, NY. She attended Muhlenberg College where she majored in biology and minored in economics. At NYU she began the HOPE club that collaborates with NYU undergrad's Relay for Life. She also volunteers through the Brothers and Sisters in Science club (BASIS) and is actively involved in the Business and Economics in Medicine club (BEAM). In her free time she enjoys cooking and exploring the city.
	Asya Izraelit Class of 2014 Asya.Izraelit@med.nyu.edu Asya grew up in Forest Hills, NY. She graduated from Columbia University in 2009, where she double majored in Biology and Psychology. At NYU, she is co-President of AMSA, and on the board of several student organizations, including NYC Free Clinic, JSA, and HOPE. Over the summer (2011), she is travelling to Beijing as part of NYU’s International Health Program to conduct cervical cancer research.
	Ashley Lamparell Class of 2014 Ashley.Lamparello@med.nyu.edu Ashley is from Old Tappan, New Jersey. She graduated from Duke University in 2010 where she majored in Public Policy. At NYU, she is co-president of AMA and vice president of the Global Medicine Club.
	Bobbi Georgia Brady Class of 2014 Bobbi.Brady@med.nyu.edu Bobbi was born and raised in Naples, Florida and graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science. During her time off before medical school, she taught full time high school biology at the high school she herself attended in Naples. At NYU, she has leadership positions in the Dermatology Interest Group, Harm Reduction Alliance, Oncology Club, Course Liaisons, and the New York City Free Clinic. She also conducts research on metastatic melanoma at NYU and through an IHP project in Madrid, Spain.
	Stephanie Wu Class of 2014 Stephanie.Wu@med.nyu.edu Stephanie is originally from Boca Raton, Florida. She attended MIT, where she majored in Biology and Music. At NYU, Stephanie is one of the co-directors for the NYC Free Clinic and the vice president of the Classical Musicians in Medicine club. She also has been an active volunteer for Reaching Out to Kids at the Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys playing the piano, exploring new restaurants, and rooting for the Miami Dolphins!
	Rachel Shustak Class of 2014 Rachel.Shustak@med.nyu.edu Rachel is from Bedford, NY. She attended Johns Hopkins University where she majored in Public Health. At NYU, Rachel is involved in pediatrics research at Bellevue Hospital. She is co-president of the Medical Nutrition Club and on the board's of the Pediatric Obesity Prevention Program and Cardiology Club for the upcoming year.
	Hersh Shroff Class of 2014 Hersh.Shroff@med.nyu.edu Hersh was born and raised in New Jersey, and, in 2010, he graduated from the University of Michigan where he majored in Neuroscience. At NYU, Hersh is the Referrals Coordinator for the NYC Free Clinic and also volunteers for a community health literacy group called HELP. Outside of school, Hersh’s number one passion is rooting for the Michigan Wolverines!
	Michael Davenport Class of 2014 Michael.Davenport@med.nyu.edu Mike grew up just outside Boston in Norwood, MA. He attended Johns Hopkins University and majored in Biomedical Engineering. Before NYU, he took a year off to continue a research project in type 2 diabetes at the Joslin Diabetes Center. At NYU, he is a leader of the GI club, and performing research in medical parasitology.
	Jacob Calcei Class of 2014 Jacob.Calcei@med.nyu.edu Jake is from Aurora, Ohio. He attended Kenyon College where he played baseball and majored in Biology. Jake is the oldest of four boys and has a passion for sports. He is currently involved in sports medicine orthopaedic research at the Hospital for Joint Diseases and is the research director for the MiniMeds program at NYU.
	Michael Weinstock Class of 2014 Michael.Weinstock@med.nyu.edu Michael is from the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Emory University where he majored in Political Science and Chemistry. After college he joined Teach for America and became a chemistry teacher at a high school in Brooklyn where he taught for two years. At NYU he continues to teach through the student groups HELP and Mini-Meds. When not studying he enjoys competing on the athletic field as well as experiencing all New York has to offer.
	Brent Dibble Class of 2014 Brent.Dibble@med.nyu.edu Brent is from Ocean City, Maryland. He attended Georgetown University, where he studied Neuroscience. Since arriving at NYU, Brent has served as a course liaison, vice president of his class and currently serves as the Student Council President. Brent will be conducting research on biofilm formation in Shanghai, China this summer as part of the NYU International Health Program.
