Herbert Lepor, M.D.
is an
internationally-recognized
authority in the treatment of prostate cancer.
His major contributions in the area of prostate cancer include pioneering and improving the surgical technique for the nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy, establishing recombinant erythropoietin as a safe and effective blood management strategy for

the development of an algorithm defining criteria for performing

can be safely removed one week following surgery, and the evaluation of the
